As from October 2023, the practice will not be taking prescription requests over the telephone 

You may order your repeat prescriptions by:

NHS App:
Did you know you can manage repeat prescriptions from Poole Town Surgery in the NHS App or NHS account?

You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you’ll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.

You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. There’s no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.

In Person:
You can drop off your repeat request to the surgery in person

On-line:
To request a prescription on-line please complete the following form. Please allow 48 hours before collecting from the surgery or 72 hours before collecting from the pharmacy. Fields marked * are required items of information.

Repeat Dispensing Service:

Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD) allows your GP to send a series of repeat prescriptions to your pharmacy in one go, so there’s no need for you to order them each time. It’s reliable, secure and confidential. Your regular prescriptions are stored securely on the NHS database, so they’ll be ready at the pharmacy each time you need them.
